Terms of Service

Effective September 8, 2026.

These terms cover the WrenchEasy website and app. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use it for a shop or other business, you must have authority to act for that business.

WrenchEasy is an experimental software service operated by Benjamin F. McNeill. For support, privacy questions, or account deletion, contact ben@wrencheasy.com.

What we provide

WrenchEasy provides a free invoice builder with account storage and PDF downloads for independent auto repair shops. Estimates and broader shop management tools are still in development. The app is experimental. Planned features are not a promise that they are available today or will launch on a particular date.

Your account

You must be at least 18, provide accurate account information, and protect access to your account. Google sign-in is subject to Google's own terms. Contact us if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.

Your records belong to you

You retain your rights in the information you submit. You give us permission to process that information as needed to provide, secure, and support the service. You must have permission to submit any customer or other third-party information. Do not submit information you are not entitled to use.

You approve the work and the numbers

You are responsible for reviewing labor, parts, prices, taxes, customer details, and totals before using or sending a document. WrenchEasy does not inspect vehicles, authorize repairs, or provide mechanical, legal, accounting, or tax advice. Your shop remains responsible for its repair work, customer authorizations, and compliance with applicable requirements.

Use the service responsibly

Do not use WrenchEasy for fraud, unlawful activity, unauthorized access, malicious software, or activity that disrupts the service or compromises someone else's information. You may not misrepresent the service as your own or misuse our branding.

Pricing and communication

No paid subscription is currently offered. If we introduce paid features, we will show you the price and billing terms before you agree to pay. Creating an account does not authorize future charges or subscribe you to marketing emails.

Availability and responsibility

We aim to provide useful, dependable software and to take responsibility when something goes wrong. Early software may have interruptions or errors. Keep copies of records you need, and review documents before relying on them.

To the extent allowed by applicable law, the service is provided as available, without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free results. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Ending use of the service

You may stop using WrenchEasy and request account deletion. We may restrict access to address misuse, security concerns, or legal requirements. Where practical, we will explain the issue and give you an opportunity to resolve it. Information handling and retention are described in our Privacy Policy.

Updates and contact

We may update these terms as the service develops. We will publish the updated terms here and provide additional notice of material changes where required. The effective date appears at the top of this page. Contact ben@wrencheasy.com for support or account requests.
